The Jefferson Street Social is holding a Bourbon Social that will be hosted in The Blue Room on Saturday, November 1, at 7 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to sample 6-8 bourbons from Heaven Hill Brands. It will be a ticketed event and advance ticket purchase is encouraged in order to have a head-count of how many participants to expect. Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance and $25 if purchased day-of. The Blue Room is next door to The Jefferson Street Social and participants will receive a wrist band and be able to go back and forth between the two rooms. Charcuterie will be available in The Blue Room for ticket holders and some swag provided by Heaven Hill will be given away. Live music will be provided by Lauren Lindsay. “We really look forward to seeing everybody there and to experience and take advantage of these unique opportunities here in Kosciusko,” said Marc Sims of The Jefferson Street Social.

The small-batch high-end bourbons were selected by Fallan Buie, a representative from Heaven Hill, who will be at the event to guide the tasting and talk about the bourbons and their differences. “We’re looking forward to a fun night, for bourbon drinkers and non-bourbon drinkers alike, to have an opportunity to taste top shelf bourbon,’ said Sims. “I hope people will appreciate getting to have an opportunity like this, to try these bourbons and have a great night with live music and the regular scheduled programming, and in addition, in The Blue Room, be able to taste these really good and different bourbons.”
