Ghoul’s Night Out Shopping Event Returns to Kosciusko

Ghoul’s Night Out is returning to Kosciusko on Thursday, October 23, from 4-8 p.m. This event is intended to gives ladies a fun opportunity to shop at local businesses and enjoy treats such as extended store hours, discounts, and refreshments. Among the participating businesses are Inked Design Studio, The Honey Hole, Sullivan’s, and May & Bloom, a brand-new floral studio that has opened on the square.

Inked Design Studio is located on the square and provides a wide variety of printing services as well as décor and novelty items. Their plans for Ghoul’s Night out include extended store hours, giveaways, a drawing for a $50 gift card, discounts of up to 50% on select items (excluding fall seasonal items) and complementary refreshments. They will also have two pop-up vendors, A & J Essentials who offers scrubs and t-shirts, and Bexley Glam Co. who sells nails and lashes. Katherine White of Inked Design Studio says her favorite part of Ghoul’s Night Out is getting to interact with everyone who comes into the shop and getting to showcase what they do there. She also pointed out that it is a great way for women to visit businesses that are typically closed when they get off of work. This will be the second year Inked Design Studio has participated in Ghoul’s Night Out.

The Honey Hole Flea Market will be participating in Ghoul’s Night Out for their third year. They will be offering finger foods catered by Blue Plate Catering, cookies by Pickle Bakery Co., door prizes, and sales ranging from 10% to 50% off in participating vendor booths. Michelle Fox of The Honey Hole says her favorite part of the event is seeing all of the “ghouls” enjoying themselves, shopping, and laughing. “The atmosphere is just great, seeing everyone smile and have a good time,” said Fox. “I think as a business owner participating in local events is a great thing, not only for the business sales, but just as a community coming together. I love the small-town vibe!” Fox encourages local businesses to come together for events like this one. “If we want to shop local, shop small-town vibes, and be recognized, we as business owners have to have events and come together to make that happen. Team work makes the dream work not only for Ghoul’s Night Out, but for all events,” said Fox.

Newly opened floral studio May & Bloom will be offering extended hours during Ghoul’s Night Out so that visitors can stop in and see their curated collection of florals, vases and containers, and other accessories. Rather than just a traditional floral shop, May & Bloom is a space where people can come and be creative, make hand-tied bouquets to take home, or purchase beautiful candles for tablescapes. “I want this to feel like a space where people can come and be creative,” said Jodi May of May & Bloom.

Sullivan’s will be participating in Ghoul’s Night Out from 3-6 p.m. and will have discounts ranging from 50% to 75% off of select clothing sections and a 50% discount on fall décor. Everyone who makes a purchase will be entered for a chance to win a giveaway.
