Kosciusko will be abuzz with Christmas spirit during the Christmas Open House on November 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. This event will feature an afternoon of shopping local and getting into the Christmas spirit with Kosciusko’s downtown merchants. Mark IV, Madison Street Nail Company, Sullivan’s, Inked Design Studio, May & Bloom, The Honey Hole Flea Market, Holt & Company, Traditions and Trends, and The Carousel House are among participating businesses.
The Carousel House has been open for one year and will be participating in their first Christmas open house. Shoppers can visit vendor booths and experience carousel rides and fresh popcorn. “I’m super excited for the vendors getting to display their talents,” said Macey Price of The Carousel House. “I’m also excited for downtown Kosciusko, as this event adds to the town’s Christmas open house!” The vendors hosted include KD Customs, Mississippi Bippi, God’s Corner Gardner, Cottage Wraps, Coco Couture Hat Bar, Blue Plate Catering, Better Said with Thread, Baylee Casey, Amy’s Kitchen, Harmony Homestead Sourdough, and Splash of Color Designs.
Madison Street Nail Company will be celebrating the festivities by giving away free gifts to the first 50 guests who walk through the door. In addition, everyone who stops by will also be entered to win a giveaway worth over $800. Complementary hot cocoa will be available for everyone to enjoy while they tour the newly opened space. They will have gift cards available for purchase at 15% off $100 or more which make perfect Christmas gifts. “We’re looking forward to seeing people from the community coming together, laughing, exploring, sipping cocoa, and getting a taste of what each business has to offer,” said Madison Taylor of Mark IV and Madison Street Nail Company.
Next door to Madison Street Nail Company, shoppers are encouraged to end the day at Mark IV for the second annual unveiling of their Christmas village display. Mark IV will pull the curtain to reveal the Department 56 Christmas village collection at 4 p.m. It is sure to be a magical moment for the whole family and fill the whole block with excitement. Gerry Sanders of Mark IV has been curating this collection for over fifty years. The unveiling will be a festive sight you will not want to miss.
May & Bloom Floral Studio will have door prizes and a fully stocked fresh flower bar. The first 100 shoppers in line at Sullivan’s will receive a tote bag full of goodies.
